What do you think about this whole situation?

Hi. My husband and I decided to take 6 kids camping with us and 2 of them were mine. The rest were my nieces aged from 6-13. My kids Lizzy age 2 and Maddie age 4 and my nieces Alayna age 6, Nicole age 10, Jaymee age 11 and Britney age 13. I am 28 myself and my husband is 29. We decided since Alayna, Nicole and Jaymee haven't seen Britney since 2009 (Britney moved, but shes moved back into the area) we would take them all camping, BAD IDEA. Well lets start from the begining, we were packing up for 1 weeks trip. All of that food, blankets, pillows, toys etc. We filled up 2 cars with all that stuff (we took 3 total). So we get all packed up and leave. Now Britney has never been camping before. As soon as we got up there Nicole, Jaymee and Britney went to the bathroom and complained about how dirty it was and was recording on the phone saying "the camp store is cleaner than those bathrooms". Then they were talking in hillbilly voices (ANNOYING) and wouldnt shut up while me and my husband were trying to put up our trailer tent. They were singing very loudly with hillbilly voices. Then all the little kids were throwing fits because some couldnt sit by Britney and blah blah blah (They did this alot). Then they argued over who got the tenis racket (we only ahd 3) and the younger kids were screaming and crying because the older kids wouldnt give them turns. Then we let them take a walk on their own before dinner was ready (all together) and who-ever was the "brilliant one" and decided to teach the little kids to knock over port a pottys and chase golfcarts and it was raining too and i went to go look for them and they were going to the place where they tell you what activites there is to do that night (WE TOLD THEM BEFORE WHAT ACTIVITES THERE WAS) and i picked up the little kdis in my car there was no room for the big kids so i made them walk and (stalked them) to make sure they go back to the tent. Then we took them to the park and they were argueing over the teet or tot and my daughter got a splinter and it strated pouring it was horrible, Went back to the tent. Then Nicole wanted to sleep by Britneyy tonight (they stay upo and talk and giggle so NO). She has the biggest fit ever and cried and said "your not the boss of me" and "im not eating " and "my mom made me come on this trip i didnt want to i hate you" and she called her mom and asked to be picked up (Her mom refused to drive because the campsite was 2 1/2 hours away and it was 7pm). So then we ate dinner and they went to the creek now my 2 year old daughter was scared to walk in the water and Jaymee was holding her and asked help from Nicole and Britney but they just left them and went up more in the creek, that irratated me. Then they went to roast marshmellows and burnt everyone of them ON PURPOSE (the older kids im talking about) so it was in the fire. I yelled at them. So theyw ent into the camper. There bed was being help up by 2 steel rods and they jumped ON PURPOSE (they know not too) and one cracked so we yelled at them. Then we went to bed from 9pm-12:30am they were up ALL NIGHT (dont ask why i have NO IDEA they woke me and my husband up, we didnt have any sleeping pills either) shaking the camper, bouncing up and down, making fart noises, whispering, laughing, getting in and out of the camper being OBNOXIOUS (the OLDER kids not the younger ones). Then at 4:30am Nicole was yelling "lets gather around the campfire and sing our campfire song" in a hillbilly voice. I yelled at them to go to bed and this is never happening again and were leaving tomorrow. I turned the TV off at 1:00am so they were doing this in pitch blackness. The little kids were asleep the whole time NOT US. We yelled at them constantly but they didnt care. So the next day we got the lil ones up at 6am and ate breakfast and went golfing (mini golfing) and i dont know why i wasted the 10$ on the older kids cuz they were being smarta$$es and using their hands (video recording it) and going on seperate courses cuz they didnt wanna wait for the lil ones. They said to me in a hillbilly voice "wasnt that a great game of golf arnt we the best golfers" Then we went past a sign that said have a beary good day and theyre like "aunt zoey r u having a beary good day" and saying beary after EVERYTHING they said. We told them to pick up the ground before we left they threw everything in the fire and video recorded it (That made me furious) so I told them to go to the car. They are the most disgustingest people ever. They didnt bring deodarent ON PURPOSE and lifted their arms up (they were sitting there for 45 minutes and doors wer shut) My car windows were foggy and oh my god we had to air out the car i made them leave all the doors open and sprayed them with febreeze for 10 minutes. Then Nicole lifted her arms up again while we were driving I yelled at her. We went home the next day (The OLDER KIDS were TERRIB

What is a good pottery kiln for a beginner to buy?

I've never had to fire any of my own stuff so I'm not sure what kind of kiln I should buy.I really don't know anything about kilns. My Campbell's Dwarf is thin but rejecting food. What should I do?

Shape some slate tiles?

Believe me the only thing a torch or kiln would do to the soft metals in your coins would be to melt them into slag. I recommend a miniatures' painter's kit, then toss in some of your favorite items, such as the magnifiers, jewelers' tweezers, some nice tiny, soft natural haired brushes (I have a friend who uses one of his brushes with all but one hair plucked out!). I am a beginner in throwing pottery and I am unable to take any courses on it other than the things I have been able to find online, so I am pretty much on my own. Well I went to Tennessee for my cousin's graduation and I live in Louisiana. Well we stayed at a hotel call 'Embassy Suites' and it was very nice. Well we just got home from dinner with my cousin and the rest of the family and it was the night before his graduation. My family and I decided we would go swimming. Well when we got down to the pool area there were guys. Of course I just stayed in the hot tub. Well this one guy came over and got in. I found him attractive, as I do a lot of guys, but there was some different about him that made my stomach just jump into my throat. I of course got out after he left. And we headed back to our suite. This particular hotel was kind of square shaped and the rooms were on the sides so you could look over the railing outside your room and see what was going on in the lobby. Tired of my family's racket I stepped outside and looked over the railing (as there was a wedding dinner rehearsal that night) and just sitting there when I noticed the SAME guy from the hot tub walked out and was looking over the railing two floors down from me. I watched him from the corner of my and saw he periodically looked up at me. (I pretended I didn't notice) Finally he asked me if I was "Just chilling" and my whole stomach jumped. I was like "Yeah nothing better to do round here..." After that my mom came out and told me to come inside. The next morning I got up got dressed and headed down to the gift shop and I noticed he was down in the lobby too. I played it cool and pretended not to notice him. I walked in and saw him walk into the gift shop as well. I started looking around and realized I couldn't even afford a coffee mug! So I left and as I did I noticed he walked out to. As I walked into the elevator and punched the button he walked in... And he got on his floor and I went back to my room. Couple hours later I was getting ready for the graduation. My family was already downstairs waiting for me. And I had my cutest dress on. He watched me walk to the elevator and watched me as the elevator went down (they were glass so you could see who was in them) not trying to hide that he was clearly staring at me. I was soooo flattered. Then about 5 hours later we came back and as we walked to the front door I noticed he, his dad, and his friends were sitting on the couches next to the door. Well as I walked in he immediately stood up. I know WTF? Anyways, I realized I had major feelings for this guy yet I don't know his name. I knew the next morning we were leaving and I was really upset. Well morning came and we were carrying our bags out and I saw his family and his friend's family with their stuff piled up too. We kind of exchanged sad glances. And as we got down to the lobby (him, his family, his friend, and his friend's family were still on their floor) he was watching me and his friend was rubbing his back as if he was comforting him. I almost bursted into tears right there. Well as we started our nine hour journey home (which was today) I thought of him the WHOLE way. As soon as I got into my room I started bawling! Then I picked at myself saying that I'm pathetic crying over a guy that I'm basically strangers to and will most likely NEVER see again. I'm crying my eyes out right now because I know I'll never see him again. I have never known this feeling of my heart aching for him ad my stomach queasy all the time. No. Metal clay is being sintered by the torch. Pottery clay has to be vitrified (partially converted to glass in simple terms) and before that the chemically bound water has to be driven off of the clay at around 900F. The process of firing clay includes the term "maturing" which is a measured rise in temperature over time that lets all the clay undergo all the steps from rather soft fragile "dry" clay to hard brittle ceramic. Torching is too fast and uneven to do this.

Sid Meier's Pirates! won't install?

I was wondering how to make an open fire kiln from my fire pit in my back yard. i need the simple steps of what to do, how to do it and how long to keep it in the fire and when to reduce the heat. cone 02 is hotter than 05, the cone temps go from larger numbers to smaller on the 02 side, and from smaller to larger on the other side so 022 for would be a cooler temp for gold luster, but cone 8 would be very hot for stone ware, if you don't have a auto matic cone sitter, you need to build a cone pack, take some clay and place 3 large cones one for the temp you want to fire at, and one for a cooler temp and one for a hotter temp cone 4 cone 5 -6 and cone 7, when the first cone melts you know you temp is close to what you want

Wow this is really frustrating! I downloaded and installed pirates online as i play it every day. Sculpting clay in art class please help!?

Hi! So, in art class, we are making clay dragons. First of all, we have to make two pinch pots (I think that is what they are called ? :P) and put them together to form the body. Before you put them together, you are supposed to tightly pack each pot with lots of paper towel... the thing is, I forgot to do that. :S I was just wondering what will happen when it is fired in the kiln without paper towel inside, and why we have to do that? Okay, I bought Sculpt it! Air Hardening Sculpting Material because it's a no bake, and I want to make a pipe with it because I don't have a kiln or know anybody who does (so I can't use regular clay). I have an HP g60 laptop, with the Blu-ray disc drive. Currently I am using the Wilson N Code Tour racket with a 95 sq. in. head and a 16x20 string pattern, which I have been using for almost two year( I have only been playing 2 years so this is my first racket). I am deciding to switch and and demoed a few racket and really like the Wilson Six.One Tour and the Head YOUTEK Prestige Mid but can't decide which one to get. I play similarly with them and I like the small head size on both. I play with a one handed back hand and I tend to stay on the baseline but occasionally come up to the net. I have a big flat first serve, with some kick when I hit the ball on the upper part of the racket with a flick of a wrist. You purchased a clay intended for children. Air dry clay that can be fired in a kiln would cost a great deal more than the Crayola stuff. Kilns are not cheap either, and your electric bill would certainly show a big difference. Stick with a good quality polymer. It will be cheaper in the end.

Fun uses for glass marbles?

My girlfriend and I were gonna spend a saturday making things with marbles. Sounds awesome right? haha. We were thinking we might make some cool looking stuff by hot gluing them together or heating them up and putting them in cold water (I hear this makes em look cool). Help playing torrented mdf/s games?

So I have a windows 7 and im trying to play games that are mdf and mds files. I got these games torrented off of the pirate bay or whatever. I download the whole thing on utorrent then try to play the files and it says it cant play mds df files. So i go online and get daemon tools lite to play them on. it props up the opening menu thing, asks if i wanna install and I click yes. It gets about 2/3 of the way through and says i need to put in the disk to continue installing but i obviously dont have the disk cause i torrented it. I have no idea whats wrong if someone who knows more about this could help that would be great. It worked when i played the clannad game but after that it didnt -__- I put my free time in your hands internet. In my art class, we're making coil pots, and we have to bag just the top of the clay to let the bottom of it get harder so it wont collapse. I have to draw a picture based on a book, but I also want to draw characters based on two people. Hi. My husband and I decided to take 6 kids camping with us and 2 of them were mine. The rest were my nieces aged from 6-13. My kids Lizzy age 2 and Maddie age 4 and my nieces Alayna age 6, Nicole age 10, Jaymee age 11 and Britney age 13. I am 28 myself and my husband is 29. We decided since Alayna, Nicole and Jaymee haven't seen Britney since 2009 (Britney moved, but shes moved back into the area) we would take them all camping, BAD IDEA. Well lets start from the begining, we were packing up for 1 weeks trip. All of that food, blankets, pillows, toys etc. We filled up 2 cars with all that stuff (we took 3 total). So we get all packed up and leave. Now Britney has never been camping before. As soon as we got up there Nicole, Jaymee and Britney went to the bathroom and complained about how dirty it was and was recording on the phone saying "the camp store is cleaner than those bathrooms". Then they were talking in hillbilly voices (ANNOYING) and wouldnt shut up while me and my husband were trying to put up our trailer tent. They were singing very loudly with hillbilly voices. Then all the little kids were throwing fits because some couldnt sit by Britney and blah blah blah (They did this alot). Then they argued over who got the tenis racket (we only ahd 3) and the younger kids were screaming and crying because the older kids wouldnt give them turns. Then we let them take a walk on their own before dinner was ready (all together) and who-ever was the "brilliant one" and decided to teach the little kids to knock over port a pottys and chase golfcarts and it was raining too and i went to go look for them and they were going to the place where they tell you what activites there is to do that night (WE TOLD THEM BEFORE WHAT ACTIVITES THERE WAS) and i picked up the little kdis in my car there was no room for the big kids so i made them walk and (stalked them) to make sure they go back to the tent. Then we took them to the park and they were argueing over the teet or tot and my daughter got a splinter and it strated pouring it was horrible, Went back to the tent. Then Nicole wanted to sleep by Britneyy tonight (they stay upo and talk and giggle so NO). She has the biggest fit ever and cried and said "your not the boss of me" and "im not eating " and "my mom made me come on this trip i didnt want to i hate you" and she called her mom and asked to be picked up (Her mom refused to drive because the campsite was 2 1/2 hours away and it was 7pm). So then we ate dinner and they went to the creek now my 2 year old daughter was scared to walk in the water and Jaymee was holding her and asked help from Nicole and Britney but they just left them and went up more in the creek, that irratated me. Then they went to roast marshmellows and burnt everyone of them ON PURPOSE (the older kids im talking about) so it was in the fire. I yelled at them. So theyw ent into the camper. There bed was being help up by 2 steel rods and they jumped ON PURPOSE (they know not too) and one cracked so we yelled at them. Then we went to bed from 9pm-12:30am they were up ALL NIGHT (dont ask why i have NO IDEA they woke me and my husband up, we didnt have any sleeping pills either) shaking the camper, bouncing up and down, making fart noises, whispering, laughing, getting in and out of the camper being OBNOXIOUS (the OLDER kids not the younger ones). Then at 4:30am Nicole was yelling "lets gather around the campfire and sing our campfire song" in a hillbilly voice. I yelled at them to go to bed and this is never happening again and were leaving tomorrow. I turned the TV off at 1:00am so they were doing this in pitch blackness. The little kids were asleep the whole time NOT US. We yelled at them constantly but they didnt care. So the next day we got the lil ones up at 6am and ate breakfast and went golfing (mini golfing) and i dont know why i wasted the 10$ on the older kids cuz they were being smarta$$es and using their hands (video recording it) and going on seperate courses cuz they didnt wanna wait for the lil ones. They said to me in a hillbilly voice "wasnt that a great game of golf arnt we the best golfers" Then we went past a sign that said have a beary good day and theyre like "aunt zoey r u having a beary good day" and saying beary after EVERYTHING they said. If the price is right go for it, wheels and kilns are both expensive to buy new. but you need to be sure the electricity in your home (or where ever) is compatible, like 110 or 220. and the right outlet for the type of plug it has. know that a kiln takes a long time to fire most things, which can be expensive on your power bill. you will probably need a couple of firing lessons, which you can usually get from a local ceramics shop or local kiln dealer if not there are a few videos I was able to find online. (the person who used it would be a great help). you have to learn how to load it. and it needs to be placed where the heat build up won't set your house on fire. but other than that there simple. My friend learned how to use hers from the local high school art teacher.

When do I need to use a kiln for lampwork?

I'm looking into doing lampwork; I especially want to learn to make pendants, beads, and tobacco pipes. The only thing I can't find much info on is using a kiln. I've found some sites that say to put your finished work in the kiln, but I'm not sure how long to do this. Why is my eye bloodshot?

Where could I order a reasonably priced, small to medium sized electric kiln?

I enjoy ceramic sculpting, but I haven't been able to in a good while without a kiln to bisque or glaze them in. Does anyone know where I could buy a kiln that's around one square foot for up to $400? I'd prefer something in the $200s range, if possible. I'm perfectly fine with used or refurbished kilns, rust is fine as long as it's purely cosmetic. Doesn't have to do a medium/high cone, since I mainly do sculptural, but the capability would be nice.

The best I think would be Sculpey clay. It comes in tons of colours which is great for kids and it can be baked in the oven. You can find Sculpey or Primo or any other polymer clay of this type at most craft stores.

I just moved into my new house (college student) and I have a problem with my bedroom door. Apparently there's no holes drilled for modern day doorknobs. The house was built in the 1890's and lock/doorknob look like it. The key hole for the seized up lock looks like a "pirate key." I have a chain lock from the inside of my room to lock the door but when I leave my room, I want a way to lock it from the outside. For example when we throw a party, I don't want people in my room. FYE Music/Video Store Sold Me Pirated DVD?

We have a small manmade pond in our back yard that is home to many fish. Every single night we hear these obnoxious sounds coming from the pond, which makes it very hard to sleep. We have gone back and discovered the source of all the racket, and it is these toads living in the pond. Their throat gets huge-like a huge bubble and they let out this unfriendly sound that lasts between 5 and 15 seconds. We have netted 20 of these toads ( i think they are toads since they are brown and warty) and have taken them down to a bigger pond down the street. Every night the same noise pursues, even after we just get rid of them. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them? Clearly removing them from the pond is not working, as I assume they just keep coming back. It has been giving my family so much discomfort and makes it extremely difficult to sleep. Can someone help me with installing Logic Studio 9?

I just downloaded a torrent for Logic Studio 9 on my Macbook. I got a serial number for the installation and it worked, but then it asked me to insert a disc for Audio Packet 1 or something like that. Tennis racket recommendations?

I'm a 5.0 and I think I need a new racket. My brother and I play with the babolat aeropro cortex. I am not sure if I should change away because I kind of like it because I play with topspin. The problem with it is that I sometimes want to play flat and the aeropro is not great at hitting flat. My brother is as good as I am, maybe better because he plays all flat. He definitely needs to get away from babolat. Note that rackets must be head light and must NOT be very stiff.

Why Babolat warranty replacement policy of racquets suck?

My kid found his racket was cracked while under warranty and when it was submitted for replacement, babolat claimed they couldn't since the frame fiber has been exposed. You CAN build your own adapter cord but it would be frowned upon. The best bet would be to change the plug on your kiln. Wire in the two hot wires and the ground and you would be ready to fire it up. I don't believe you will find an adapter to fit these two plugs, but if you can find the mates to the two, you could build your own adapter.

I have Windows 7. I downloaded the Sims 2 H&M Fashion stuff rar. File fron Pirate Bay and when I opened the file using WinZip. a bunch of windows started popping asking if I'd like to run save or cancel ssavgent.exe and it WILL NOT STOP. How was the Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End Playstation 3 videogame?

Decent. Based on the third movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, At World's End isn't really worth checking out unless you're a die-hard fan of the series. Since there wasn't a video game for the second movie-God only knows why-the game developers decided to add it on here. The game does a good job of both recapturing the movies' plot and feel. The voice acting is decent, but the real actors from the films aren't in the game. The soundtrack makes you feel like you're both watching and playing the Pirates of the Caribbean. The best part about this game is its graphics. Characters look like their real life selves, and the environments have high detail to them. The Xbox 360 version is much more attractive, though, since the frame rate is a lot better and the game runs smoother. Where the game fails is in gameplay. The mission design isn't really that fun, since you'll be running around either fending off foes, or searching for a person or lost item. Combat is not that much fun. It's simple button mashing, and the animations look ugly. The game won't take you all that long to beat, and it isn't a very memorable experience. I myself didn't enjoy the game and it isn't recommended unless you must have a Pirates of the Caribbean game.
