Is the production of quicklime an equilibrium process?

I have a chemistry assignment due tomorrow and i need one last equilibrium process. Is this one? Something I've read suggests it isn't... as it is made in a lime kiln?? Please, any help would be reaaaaallly greatly appreciated.
