Can you fire pieces with raku glaze in normal kiln conditions?

In my high school, we don't have a raku kiln and we don't do raku fires. My ceramics teacher bought some raku glazes just because someone asked. i was wondering what would happen if raku glazes were fired under normal kiln circumstances. has anyone done this before? how does the glaze react?
