How much soil would I need to fill an 8 foot x 4 foot raised garden bed? What type of soil should I buy?

Best to cross-brace about half-way up between the four-foot dimensions, otherwise soil & hydrostatic pressure will bow it outward. Suggest using a high percentage of organics to keep the soil from compacting.
