Can I make ocarinas out of polymer clay?

This has been asked sometime, but they only answered with info, and they never answered. So I want to make an ocarina. I don't have a kiln anywhere near me so I can only do air dry and bake in the oven. Tell me please, Can I make a sweet potato ocarina out of polymer clay? If no, then out of what clay should I make an ocarina?
