What's some books like Prince Of Persia & Pirates of the Caribbean movie?

Okay, so, I wanna go to the library and get some books but I'm not sure what to get. I Loved the movie's Prince of Persia and Pirates of the Caribbean. But if it has a lot of magic in it my mom won't let me get it. So I like movies like that but I also wanna start reading some books like that. I'm 14so like nothing that would get me bored and also nothing that doesn't have Much magic. I don't want to buy books, so maybe if their in library's.
